This is by far one of the most well known iOS apps on the market today for creating beats. Before you download any app we typically look at the reviews and this software has a ton of positive reviews from real users.
One of the benefits of iMaschine is that it works on all iOS devices because it has no problem at all adjusting to different screen sizes. This is gives us a user friendly option that can’t be over looked.
Features: It comes with 16 pads for a groove production that is done in real time and it comes with a library of sounds that makes creating beats easy. What I really like is the keyboard mode because you can play chords, melodies and bass. Another powerful feature is that you can actually record audio as well, just add a mic to your iPad and start recording.
This free app does have a paid version but the free version is pretty awesome as well. It allows you to create music in a matter of minutes and it has a very user friendly interface.
When I took a look online at it’s downloads, not only did it have over one million downloads most of the reviews for this iPad beat making app were positive.

If you have an apple device than you have probably heard of Garage Band because it’s an apple product and it is the most popular beat making app on iOS because we all know that Apple makes quality products.
An awesome feature of Garage Band is how many instruments that you can use. Simply using your fingers to add more sounds to the beat that you are making is a lot of fun. When I checked in the App Store for its ratings and it was close to 5 stars.
This app was created to be similar to the professional stuff. It’s suited for live performance and intuitive composition, with ease, produce complete songs using trigger pads, sequencing tools, audio effects and much more!
This app does have a pretty high price tag that’s why I recommend only those that are serious about making beats purchase this software. It was created to for professionals or those aspiring to become professional music producers. You can make complete songs and tracks with the finger pads, audio effects, sequencing tools and so much more.
What you have to ask yourself before you download a beat making app for your iPad is how serious are you about producing music. If this something that you would like to do as hobby make sure you pick something easy and fun to use. But if you are seriously pursuing a future in the music industry by making hot beats than I would recommend one of the more full suite options.
